Truth can be hard to absorb in depression, particularly when it involves being positive about oneself.
Ifs and Whats
Most times, the best physical first aid any mental health sufferer needs after a major crisis or meltdown is rest. Other times it’s chocolate. Or chocolate and rest. Oh my. Sleeping on a chocolate bed. Hmm.
Cue the exit! Seriously though. Mental health is a tricky thing. I’m not saying this is the best way to deal with things. But in this comic, that’s Jane’s approach. I don’t dare get in her way either.
