Facing the Pain
When you have back pains or a fractured leg, it’s easier to allow yourself to face it. It’s not your fault. It’s got nothing to do with you per se. Your leg broke and it hurts and all you can do is to rest it.
Pain in the heart and mind is a different story. Something inside got broken and no one can help you to put the cast on. You have to do it yourself, whether you’re ready or not.
Your therapist can walk with you.
But the work is yours to do.
Sometimes it’s just easier to head back to bed and bury your head under the blankets.
Next, a look at mindfulness, when I have the energy to continue posting.
I liked the comic from the second I saw it. It was kinda hard to stop reading actually. I… just wanted to let you know that
I hope you are fine so far possible.
Thank you so much for that… It’s very kind of you and I’ve been struggling to take in positive comments about this work. I’ll keep trying.
