Back to the therapy room!

Sometimes we wonder why we need to fill things in, or do check ins and mood surveys. The reason is because we need facts and numbers even in the midst of subjective moods and feelings. Over time, we can then see whether there’re any patterns or growth that we subjectively fail to see.

One way I do this alone is with an app named Daylio. Mood journals etc. can help too.

And while everyone’s depression is different… The symptoms are pretty darn similar. That’s why therapy can work even though there’re only just so many types of therapies out there. But there’s always hope for recovery and symptom management.
