Psychiatrists like most other doctors, simply want to help you recover. If you can be honest about other physical ailments, be honest about your depression. There’re also psychiatrists who simply rub you the wrong way, or don’t seem to take you seriously. Don’t be afraid to ask to change doctors if you need to.
