Not everyone is as fortunate to have such a stalwart support to encourage them, and be with them. But the issue of medication cuts across all areas of life, and ultimately, it’s up to the individual to decide whether to give the medicine, and themselves, a chance to help them to recover.

If you have someone whom you love who has depression, give them a hug. Or two. Or three. Hugs are free. We need them a lot.
